Strategic Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is a national, full service, healthcare staffing company certified by the Joint Commission. We are headquartered on Long Island, New York and have 30 branch offices nationwide and growing. We currently have over 1,600 hospital clients under contract which creates opportunities for our employees in all 50 States. Our hospital clients have permanent, per diem and travel needs for all types of healthcare professionals. Although we recruit for permanent and per diem job needs, our primary focus is to recruit experienced and quality healthcare professionals that match our hospital client travel contract needs.
The travel healthcare professional is employed by Strategic Healthcare Staffing and is contracted to our hospital clients in 13 week increments. The healthcare professional can renew their contract at our hospital client for another 13 weeks or travel to a new location.

We believe that you, as a nurse, bring a much-needed dose of leadership and humanity—not to mention a unique skill-set—to the healthcare industry. It is our goal to recruit and place experienced nurses, primarily registered nurses and sometimes licensed practical nurses, on 13-week local and travel contracts in acute-care settings nationwide, giving you opportunities to explore the country and to better your life.
Creating Opportunities for Allied Healthcare Professionals
We believe there is also a place for physicians, surgical techs, physical therapists, occupational therapists and other allied healthcare professionals in the healthcare travel industry. It is our goal to help you find the right place—or places—for you. As with our nurses, most of our traveling allied healthcare professionals are contracted to hospitals and other healthcare settings in 13-week increments, to be renewed or not at your request. Also, as with our nurses, we seek to give you opportunities to explore the country and to better your life with better than competitive earnings.
